Frederick was known as Mike by the family. He like, the rest of siblings had an incredible education and became a nuclear physicist and worked on the creation of the atomic bomb. He married Christina Mae Compton and had several children with her. He was preceded in death by his parents; Gus and Pearl Winter, his brother Warren, and two sisters; an infant sister that wasn't named and Hazel Ethridge. He was survived by his wife, his children, his three remaining sisters; Gladys, Mary, and Kathleen (who went by Dutch), and several nieces and nephews.
