Cornelia's mother remarried to Elisha C. Terry, and is buried near the back of Bear Branch Cemetery, alongside Elisha. Cornelia's father, John Hampton Covington, is interred with his mother and stepparents in the tiny nearby J. H. Covington Cemetery.
In the top photo at right, to Cornelia's right is the tall tombstone of her husband. Directly behind Cornelia's marker is that of her stepfather, Elisha C. Terry. Her mother's smaller marker is on his left. On the right of Elisha is the marker of his first wife, Abigail McDonald. They were all neighbors on what's now known as Roberdell School Road in Roberdell.
