Helen, a former resident of Española, passed away in the Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood, California. She was predeceased by husband Leo Rodriguez.
Helen was survived by daughter Eva Martinez of California and John D. Rodriguez of Española; sisters Genoveva Martinez, Charlotte Arguello, Angie Delgado, Belen Vigil, and Tina Salazar; brother Joe Espinoza, all of Española; seven grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A Rosary was recited 3 May 1990 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pojoaque. Funeral services were 5 May in the same church. Burial followed at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers were Vincent Martinez, Jeff Rodriguez, Jerry Thatcher, Danny Vigil, Charles Salazar, and Horace Martinez.
