Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Grubbs Woleslagel, 84, RD1 Evans City, formerly of Larimer, died at her home at 11:59 Sunday night. She had been a resident of Evans City for six years but had lived in Larimer practically all her life. Born in Calhoun County, West Virginia, July 25, 1880, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Miles (PM) Woleslagle, in 1955. Surviving are the following children: Morris E., Carnegie; Mrs. Myrtle Thomas, Larimer; J. Frank, Circleville, Irwin; George W., Larimer; Mrs. Caroline L. Loughner, RD1 Evans City; Roy, Corvallis, Oregon; Mrs. Edith Paden, Wendel; Mrs. Fern Lentz, Larimer; 28 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Mains, Apollo. Mrs. Woleslagle was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Larimer, and Dames of Malta of Irwin. Friends will be received at Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main St., Irwin, 2-5, 7-10 daily after 7 this evening. Services will be held there Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of her minister, Rev. Robert Strommen. Interment will be in Irwin Union Cemetery.
