James Brown
James Claude (J.C.) Brown, 57, of Forest Street, died unexpectedly at his home at 2 pm Sunday.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hettie Sizemore Brown; three daughters; and one son; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Sizemore of Beaumont and Mrs. Lillie Sizemore of Durham, NC; one half-sister, Miss Sara Brown of Spartanburg; two brothers, I.O. and Ray Brown of Spartanburg; his step-mother, Mrs. Bessie brown of Spartanburg; also three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 4:30 pm at the J.F. Floyd Mortuary. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
The body will be at the home after 11 am Monday. It will be returned to the mortuary Tuesday at 2:30 pm.
J.F. Floyd Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
