NATHAN ALTHOUSE
Shillington, July 30. - Death came to Nathan Althouse, of this borough,at St. Joseph's Hospital, in Reading, at the age of 48 years, 9 months and 25 days. The deceased was the son of the late Nathan and Delena (nee Snyder) Althouse; was a painter, paperhanger and decorator by trade and held membership in the Gouglersville Lutheran Church. Remaining are the following: His widow, Mary (nee White) ; children, Charles, Naomi, Edna, Paul, Melvin and Emma, at home; brothers Llewellyn, Flushheim; Tilden, Temple; sisters, Mrs. Henbright Roop and Mrs. Warren Royer, Reading; Mrs. Frank Steavens, York; Mrs. Charles Rentschler, Reading; Mrs. Joseph Jennings, Lansdale; and two grandchildren. Funeral from his late home in this borough next Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. (new time). All the services at the house. Rev. C. G. Heffner; of Mohnton, will officiate. Interment in the Gouglersville cemetery, Director C. D. B. Kindt in charge.
