High River Times, High River, Alberta, Canada, 12 March 1908
McGinley Haynes, a rancher west of High River, died very suddenly on Friday evening.
He was performing his usual duties around the house and suddenly he sank into a chair and expired. Heart disease caused his death. He was 62 years of age and was buried in High River cemetery on Monday afternoon. The deceased came here about four years ago from Oklahoma, where he farmed and ranched. Among his neighbors he was very popular, and they all regret the passing away of such a familiar figure. He leaves two sons to mourn his death.
