During WWII she was the first woman to have a base franchise tailoring shop. It was at Fort Livingston in LA. She made and converted and tailored uniforms for Generals Bradley, Patton, and Eisenhower. Her husband, one son, six grandsons, and one great grandaughter are also buried in this cemetery.
