Amon Ward Poor, 75, of Wetumpka, Ala. died Wednesday, May 30, 2001. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Edna H. Poor; three daughters, Carolyn J. Archer of Niles, Mich., Sandy F. Payne of Wetumpka, Ala. and Connie P. Zebell of Three Oaks, Mich.; three step–daughters, Rose Krueger of Westville, Ind., Judy McKinley of Middleton, Fla. and Mary Meyers of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; three sons, Steven W. Poor of Coloma, Mich., Tim W. Poor of Springdale and James E. Sherry of Hensley; 25 grandchildren and 23 great–grandchildren. Graveside service was held June 2 at Freedom Cemetery in Chester under the direction of Edwards Van–Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
