Albert A. Land, 72, 828 W. 7th St., Rushville, Ind., died at 8 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 1993 in the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born May 24, 1921 in Rush County, the son of Albert S. and Ruth Lacy Land. He lived most of his life in Rush County and retired in 1985 after 30 years as an inspector at Philco-Ford in Connersville, Ind. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges in Rushville, as well as the American Legion.

He was married on Sept. 2, 1944 to Carrie Bussberg, and she survives; with two sons, Louis A. Land, North Platte, Neb., and Joseph C. Land, Gering, Neb.; one daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Linda Kay) Jacobs, Rushville, Ind., one sister, Margaret Newton, Rushville, Ind.; seven grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; one great-granddaughter and one stepgreat-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one great-granddaughter.

The Rev. Charles Justice will officiate the services at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Moster and Cox Mortuary, Rushville, Ind.

Burial will be in the East brook Cemetery in Milroy, Ind.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
