Thelma G. Green
July 10th, 2010

Former Eugene resident, Thelma G. Green, was born in Nebraska and passed away July 10, 2010 at the age of 100 at Highland House Nursing Home in Grant Pass, Oregon.

Thelma attended Western Oregon College and the University of Oregon and taught school in the Veneta and Crow school districts for many years.

Besides family and friends, her interest included scrap booking, photo albums, family tree and crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader and maintained a strong interest in world affairs. Her faith was non-denominational Christian.

She leaves her son and daughter-in-law, Gale and Gloria, two granddaughters, Karen and husband Rick, and Angela and friend Mark. Three great-grandchildren, Logan and friends Lindy, Trinity and Cassidy and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her brother and seven sisters.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 at West KLane [sic] Memorial Park. Hull and Hull since 1928 in charge of arrangements.
