Services Today For Dick Eichelberger

Funeral services have been set for 10 o'clock this morning at the First Methodist Church for Richard "Dick" Eichelberger, prominent Goldston farmer, who passed away at his home Tuesday evening following a lengthy illness. Rev. I.E. Biggs, pastor of the Methodist Church and Rev. Paul Wright, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.

Mr. Eichelberger, 74, had farmed in the Goldston community for approximately fifty years and was always active in community affairs. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mazie Eichelberger, Clarendon; one daughter, Mrs. Fontayne Elmore, Clarendon and three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Gid Adkisson, Abernathy; three brothers, Jim Ernest and B.F. Eichelberger, all of Waco.

Active pallbearers will be L.E. Yankie, Clarence Reynolds, John Stewart, Everett Stevenson, Nelson Seago, Roy Brock, Ralph Porter and Calvin Ashcraft. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Scoggins, J.R. Dale, W.H. Gray, Sid Endsley, John Rhoades, C.T. Williams and Murphy Brock.

Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery with the Murphy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
