From the files of Seminole Producer - April 12, l932

Grim death swung his scythe into the ranks of pioneer Seminole County citizens. His victim this time was A.L. Caster, 55, a well-known farmer living five miles northeast of Seminole. Caster died of pneumonia after two weeks of suffering. He is survived by a wife and seven children.

The deceased came to what is now Seminole County long before there was such a designation of this section of what in 1907 became Oklahoma. He lived in the same community in which death found him almost from the first day until his death. Many of his children and their children still make their home near this city.

Services will be in Maple Grove cemetery chapel. The Rev A. W. Steele, pastor of First Christian Church, will officiate.
