Enterprise Record Chieftain Newspaper, Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon, dated (Thursday) January 9, 1919.

Leonard Nessly died at Seattle last Sunday, Jan. 5, 1919, according to word reaching Enterprise this week. Death was due to heart failure, following influenza. Burial was at Seattle. Mr. Nessley and his wife left their home at Zumwalt in the late fall and went to Seattle for a winter vacation trip. It was the first-time they had been away from the ranch for any leisure since they took the land. They stopped at Zenith, Wash., near Seattle, where Mrs. Nessly had relatives. Mr. nessly was a young man of high character who, by industruy and thrift, had made an excellent start in life. His death is a loss to the community.

Mr. Nessley was a son of J.E. Nessly, editor of the Star-Mirror at Moscow, Idaho, and also interested in Wallowa county real estate.
