Camden - John Kershaw deLoach, 84, died Sunday. Born in York, he was a son of the late William Bratton and Josephine Serre Kershaw deLoach.
He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of SC. He was founder of the deLoach and deLoach law firm and was an attorney in Camden for 58 years.
He was a WWI and WWII navy veteran, achieving the rank of lieutenant commander.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jane Shannon deLoach; sons, John Kershaw deLoach Jr, and William Bratton deLoach of Camden; brothers, James Edward "Teddy" deLoach of Raleigh, NC; and Louise Douglas deLoach of Camden; a sister, Miss Faith deLoach of Camden.
