Winford Wilson "Peewee" Kitchen's' was the son of Jonas Wilson "JW" Kitchens and Grace "Gracie" Barley-Kitchens-Elder.

Winford married Juanita Fay Pendleton on 22 Mar 1946 in Lubbock, Texas. Together they made a home and had a daughter, Loretta Fay Kitchens born: 16 Dec 1947 in Amarillo, Texas.

The marriage would end in early 1948 and Juanita would move to Exeter, California.

Winford kept their daughter and remarried. He served in the United States Army as a Private and served during the Korea Conflict. His military headstone reads on the report that he spelt his last name without the s, Kitchen - and his daughter Loretta confirmed this, however she and the rest of his family did use the s on the end of their name ie., Kitchens.

Winford left behind a large family, grandchildren, great grandchildren from his daughter, Loretta and her husband Paul Wadlow, son of Odor Clayton Wadlow and Annie Exula Stone-Wadlow of Texas.

He was a member of the Church of God and a beloved father and grandfather.
