OSKALOOSA--Mrs. Lula Maude Council, 99, Oskaloosa, died Oct. 22, at a Winchester nursing home.
Mrs. Council was employed at the Sunflower Ordnance Plant at De Soto during WW II.
She was born July 11, 1885, at Oskaloosa, the daughter of Louis and Martha January Casebier. She spent her life in the Oskaloosa and Winchester communities.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church at Oskaloosa.
Her husband, Jesse Council, died Dec. 12, 1957.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Oskaloosa. Burial will be in Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery at Winchester.
