They were married 11 Mar 1855. Settled in Coventry, Summit Co., Oh. and with wife Harriet, raised to adulthood 3 children: Franklin W Battles, Sarah L "Sadie" Battles, Luella Claire Battles. Ohio death records record date of death 14 Sep 1904, rather than 1905 as is inscribed on headstone.
