Mrs. Mary Myers, 83, wife of Vincent Myers, Hanover, died at her home Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock following an extended illness. Mrs. Myers was a daughter of the late David and Harriet Lawrence, and was born March 5, 1861. She was a member of the St. Vincent's Catholic church and of the Rosary Society of the church. Surviving are her husband; four children: Mrs. Joseph MacAvoy, Hanover; George Myers, Baltimore; John Myers, Hanover; and Paul Myers, Lancaster; two step-children, Charles E. Myers, Hanover, and Mrs. Elmer Sterner, Hanover; 21 grandchildren and one brother, Joseph Lawrence, Brushtown. Funeral Thursday morning, meeting at the home at 8:30 o'clock with a requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Vincent's Catholic church, Midway. The rector, the Rev. Mark P. McElwee, celebrant. Interment in the Conewago Chapel cemetery.
