A life resident of Syracuse, he had retired as a bookbinder foreman for G. D. Kirtland Book Co. He was a member of South Presbyterian Church. He was a deacon and an elder for many years and taught Sunday school there.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. F. Albert Ottesen of Ormond Beach, Fla., Mrs. Alberta Cromie and Mrs. Charles Kirschenbaum of North Syracuse; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in South Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Ballweg-Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St.
Contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of South Presbyterian Church.
