Born in Portland Township February 9, 1890, she was the daughter of Frank and Effie Lowry. She was married to Howard Croel October 19, 1910. He preceded her in death September 10, 1964.
They made their home most of their married life in Lyons.
Surviving are two sons, Victor of Mesick and Karl of Lansing; three daughters, Mrs. Alex Vitick of Houghton Lake, M. Gerald Skelding of Ionia, and Mrs. Donald Burger of Muir; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
She was a member of Lyons Methodist Church for 62 years and a member of the United Methodist Women of the Church.
Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Hull Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Byron Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Tuttle Cemetery.
