uggested edit: Although her gravestone says Hester was born in 1880, her death certificate says she was 47 in 1924 which would make her born in 1877.
Also, in the 1900 census she is enumerated living with her parents, James and Mary Brownlee and her siblings. Her age is 22, born in Dec 1877 and her sister Mary Etta is age 20, born in Jan 1880. Records from Ancestry .com
