A resident of Crosbyton since 1932 Mrs. Shores was a native of Oklahoma. She was a member of the Crosbyton Church of Christ.
Leonard Dennis of McAdoo officiated at the services in the Crosbyton Church of Christ. He was assisted by Roger Turner of Crosbyton, minister of the local church. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shores is survived by three sons, Jim Shores of Los Gatos, Calif., and Herman Shores of Blythe, Calif., three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Gramlich of San Bernardino, Calif. Mrs. Ethel Ogle and Mrs. Helen Ausmus, both of Crosbyton; 28 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
