Thomas Head was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army Air Force and the U.S. Air Force, achieving the rank of MSGT. He served from 1942 to 1966 during World War II, Korea and Vietnam for which he was awarded three Missouri service medals. He was interred with full military honors on July 1, 2010 through the efforts of the Missing in America Project in a service that included sixteen veterans and two wives.
