Ellen Waltz, 86, died July 25, 2005. She was born in 1919.
Mrs. Waltz was a Phoenix resident for 33 years, and moved to Payson in February 2003.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Taylor; two sons, Robert II and Jeffrey; granddaughter, Tabitha Taylor Papenfus; and great-grandchildren Colby and Ariel Anderson. She is also survived by her brother, Bill Snyder of Bluffton, S.C., and her sister, B. Fouch of Bethesda, Md.
Mrs. Waltz excelled in Avon sales for 20 years, receiving numerous national honors. She served our country as an Air Force officer's wife, with her husband Ret. Brig. Gen. Robert W. Waltz, United States Air Force, for 30 years.
A celebration of life was held Aug. 1 at Messinger Mortuary.
