Dorothy was born to Tassie Mae (Walton) and William Henry Womack on March 19, 1937, in San Augustine County, Texas. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with interment following in the Rosevine Cemetery in Sabine County. Visitation will be from the hours of 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas.
Her survivors include: Daughter: Darla Jordan of Pollok, Texas, Sons: Bobby Parson and his wife, Michelle of Spring, Travis Parson of Cypress; Grandchildren: Brandi Griffith, Lyndsey Parson, Corbin Howard, Becky Anglin and Cyprus, Andy Cripe and Amanda, Ethan and Parson; Great-Grandchildren: Shelby Ferguson and Elyssa Baude; Sisters: Alice Joy Haygood of Huntington, and Verline Evett of Spring.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Parson.
Pallbearers include: J.T. Haygood, Larry Bolton, Doug Womack, Dallas Bjork, Wayne Ferguson and Clint Bolton.
