Following a long illness, James B. SCHOONOVER, age 70, passed away at the Perryton hospital early Thursday morning, April 22. Funeral Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Full Gospel Church, with Rev. Ralph A. Durham in charge. Interment was at the Ochiltree Cemetery.

Pallbearers were B. L. BARNES, G. B. MEARS, David REGIER, Bill HANDLEY, Chas. THOMPSON and Wilbur POWELL. A mixed quartet, composed of Mrs. Arthur Townsend, Miss Mary Belle Pilkerton, Mrs. Ralph A. Durham and Bill Handley, with Miss Opal Pearl Murray at the piano, furnished music.

At the time of his death, Mr. SCHOONOVER was making his home with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John SCHOONOVER, southwest of Perryton. He came to this county July 21, 1941, from Borger with his son. For the past 18 months, the deceased had been an invalid.

James Bradford SCHOONOVER, was born August 09, 1872, in Missouri, and passed away in Perryton, April 22, 1943, at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 13 days.

He is survived by three sons and three daughters: John SCHOONOVER, Perryton; Mrs. Ruby MILLER, Mrs. Ethel HEANEY, Borger; Cpl. Clyde SCHOONOVER, U. S. Army, Shreveport, Louisiana; Mrs. Edna LITTLE and Leonard SCHOONOVER, Houston. Nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter also survive.

Here for the Funeral were Mr. and Mrs. HEANEY and family, Borger; Cpl. and Mrs. Clyde SCHOONOVER, Shreveport, Louisiana; and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. ALLSBURY, Borger.
