Calvin P. Billot Sr.
Calvin P. Billot Sr., 66, a native of Lafitte and resident of Houma, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2000.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in Bisland Cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, John, Ronald and Calvin Billot Jr., all of Houma; one daughter, Cheryl Billot of Lafayette; three brothers, Kellers Bon Billot of River Ridge, Jesty Billot of Gretna, and Richard Billot of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Norine Creppel and Cesla Montesa, both of Westwego, Ophelia Cothern of River Ridge and Viviola Plaisance of Covington; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce D. Billot; his parents, Mathurin and Lucia Schouest Billot; one daughter, Roxanne Billot; one brother, Earl Billot; and one sister, Olivia Billot.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
