Shockey, Gerald, age 70, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 17, 1991 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mr. Shockey was retired from Bricklayers Union Local 22, after 50 years of services. He was a member of the Polish Club, the North Dayton Democratic Club, and VFW Post No. 2800. He is survived by his wife Mildred; 1 son, Ronald Shockey of Dayton; 1 daughter Mary Ann Mifflin of Fairborn; 3 grandchildren, David & Tommy Mifflin and Angela Shockey; 1 brother Lester Shockey of Crescent City, FL; 3 sisters, Thelma Skapik of Dayton, Eileen Murphy of Dayton and JoAnn Araujo of Redlands, CA; niece Sister Judith Ann Eby R.S.N. of St. Louis, MO; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Fiends may call 4-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Magetti Funeral Home, 1508 Valley St. Mass of Christian Burial will be said 10:00 A.M. at St. Helen's Church, Fr. Paul Poepleman, celebrant. Prayers 9:15 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
