Mr. Albert Watts is 84 year old. His father came to this county in 1832 from Kentucky, when he was only 12 years old. His wife, Sarah Watts came to this county with her father, Henry Begley, from Tennessee, in 1831, she being only 9 years old. Both families living here as neighbors, in 1847. Mr. Watts and Miss Sarah Begley were joined together as husband and wife. They have lived together ever since in Searcy County, Araknsas and have never changed their citizenship since they were married. There has been born to this happy couple eight children, seven boys and one girl, all of whom are still living. The eldest one is 57 years old, the youngest 37 years old. Mr. Watts is living six miles east of Marshall and his eight children are living in a radius of six miles from their parents Mr. and Mrs. Watts have been living together going on 60 years.
