SARAH ROBERTA MOORES-GOVER was born on 17 September 1826 in Harford County Maryland to Aquila Paca Moores and Apphia Bryarly-Moores.

Sarah married Phillip Gover on 23 February 1854 in Harford County, Maryland, and they had SIX children that are known of:

Ella Gover-Munnikhuysen (1858-1932),
Anna "Annie" Gover-Baker (1860-?),
Mary Priscilla Gover (1862-1915),
Phillip Gover (1864-?),
Agnes Courtnay Langdon Gover (1868-1951), and
Paca Moores Gover (1872-1927).

Sarah passed away on 8 January 1896 in Harford County Maryland, and she was laid to rest next to her husband, Phillip, at Christ Church Cemetery in Forest Hill, Harford County, Maryland.
