Leslie C. Odell, Retired Canton Printer,
Dies at 96
Leslie C. Odell, 96, of 812 Brown ave NW. died this morning in the Mayflower nursing home.
A Canton resident for 60 years, he was a former printer who retired from The Repository June 20, 1947, after 44 years.
He had been a member of the Typographical Union for 76 years and a member of the Local Order of Moose for 50 years. He was one of the oldest members of Trinity United Church of Christ.
His only survivors are nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Odell.
Rev. Russell A Bechtel will conduct services Monday at 1 p.m. in the Schneeberger funeral home, 1137 Market ave N. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Typographical Union services Sunday night at 7:30 in the funeral home.
