DeVon Wilde 1932 ~ 2008 OAKLEY, UTAH- DeVon Pearson Wilde, 75, passed away in Heber City, Utah on March 15, 2008.

He was born on June 28, 1932 the son of Gilbert and Vera (Pearson) Wilde, in Oakley, Utah.

He married Jane Gail and had four children, Karry, Clint, Cindy, and Shelly.

He later divorced and married Louise Fausett and had two children and a very loved son-in-law; Pattie Sue, Shawn Dee and Joseph.

He worked at the Utah State Prison, then transferred to the Utah Highway Patrol, became a trooper for 40 years. When he retired he went to work for the Port of Entry. A favorite pastime fo DeVon was working for Gerald Young on his ranch.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting and horses. His greatest joys in life were his wife and grand-children. He was a teller of many stories, the winner of many poker games and a true cowboy at heart. He was the best father, husband, friend, and grandfather anyone could ask for. Memorial service will be on Thurs. at 2 p.m. in the Peoa LDS Ward Chapel.
