Married Elizabeth Josephine Ashurst at her parents home Aug. 31,1859 on Stoney Crk., Glenn Co.,CA. Father of Lorena May (Beauchamp), William Joseph Watkins, Katherine Jane (Likens), Lebbaius "Libby" Watkins, Harry Fountain Watkins, Ellen Pearl "Nellie" (Walker)and Charles Ashurst Watkins.
