Rowesville - Mrs. Patricia Binnicker Patsy Funchess, 71, of Rowesville, died Thursday, December 6, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Brookshire and the Rev. Jerry Thompson officiating. Burial will take place in New Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Funchess was born August 14, 1936, in Norway, a daughter of Mrs. Evon Brown Binnicker and of the late George Leroy Binnicker. She was a graduate of Norway High School and the Orangeburg School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Funchess was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother and was the widow of Maynard Donald Funchess. Survivors are sons, Donald Willis Funchess (Vallerie), Rowesville and Stanley Maynard Funchess (Debonie), Rowesville; mother, Mrs. Evon B. Binnicker, Orangeburg; two sisters, Nancy B. Till (Morris), Orangeburg and Sallie B. Spade (John), Columbia; brother, George Leroy Binnicker Jr. (Lana), Sandy Run; four grandchildren, Alex Funchess, Jessie Funchess, Krystan Funchess, Abby Funchess. Memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 54, Rowesville, SC 29133. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. At other times friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Funchess, 181 Buckstrand Ln., Rowesville.
