Moved with family to Springfield, Greene county, Missouri then to Joplin, Jasper county, Missouri in late 1880s, a Carthage resident since 1916.

He likely rode 'his' trolley from in front of his Carthage home at 1349 south Main street to his office in Joplin until 1935, when its found in local newspaper of tracks being removed in Carthage.

~ Occupation: early on with Southwest Missouri Railroad (trolley), and Lakeside Park, then president Joplin Globe Publishing (newspaper) corporation, later, chairman of its board.

Census: 1910, age 26 in Joplin, Jasper county, Missouri with parents & sister.

~ Draft Registration for WW I 10 SEP 1918, married lived RFD#4 Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri, occupation listed as "farmer", was tall, slender, blue eyes, age 34.

~ an uncle, father's oldest brother, William A Rogers lived awhile with him and died 1924, in his home, interned at Forest Hill cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri found with his parents in Block 24, Lot 56.

Census: 1930, age 45 in Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri with wife & two sons at 1349 south Main, with trolley track down middle of street.

Evening of Thursday, June 7 1934 at Carthage, Missouri's Drake hotel, Harrison & wife Helen were on the fifty one member reception committee to welcome their friends of over forty years, Colonel Carl Raymond and wife Harriette (Flora) Gray to Carthage Homecoming.

Death: in Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri, residence, 1183 south Main street, Missouri Death Certificate, informant wife.
