Mrs. Otho P. Lamb
Mrs. Louise Lamb, 84, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
She was born Oct. 7, 1887 at Reading, the daughter of Herman and Amelia Proehl. On
Dec. 26, 1910 she was married to Otho P. Lamb at Council Grove, who preceded her in death in 1956. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Elsmore and the Merry Mixers Club. She had lived in Elsmore since 1924.
Survivors include two sons, Elmo N. Lamb of Waurika, Ok, and Otho P. "Bud" Lamb of Wichita; one daughter, Mrs. Curtis (Virginia) Nystrom, Topeka; four brothers, William Proehl, Waverly, Henry Proehl, Americus, Ernest Proehl, Dunlap, and John Proehl, Santa Barbara, CA; two sisters, Mrs. Otis Knight, Americus and Miss Marie Proehl, Mesa, Az. , six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Elsmore Methodist Church with the Rev. Orin Hessong officiating. Interment will be in the Elsmore Cemetery under the direction of Ralston-Hutton Funeral Home of Moran.
