Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. On Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Russell William Clepper II, age 78, of St. Cloud who died on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002 at St. Benedict's Center, St. Cloud. The Rev. Robert Rolfes will officiate. Entombment will be in the Assumption Mausoleum.
Friends may call between 4-9 p.m. On Monday and after 11 a.m. On Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN. St. Peter's parish prayers will be 7 p.m. On Monday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Russell was born on July 19, 1924, in Sauk Rapids, MN to Russell W. And Belle M. (Christle) Clepper. He married Elizabeth J. Coborn on Nov. 4, 1948, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids, MN.

He was a salesman for Quaker Oates and International Harvester Trucks, managed the camera department at Dan Marsh Drug, and owned and operated the Credit Bureau in Willmar prior to going back to his true love of photography. He owned and operated the Camera Trader since 1973. He retired in 1998 and his sons, Russ and Scot, continued its operation. He was a member of St. Peter's parish.

Russ was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

Russ is survived by his wife, Betty; sons and daughters, Russell III and his wife Joanne of St. Cloud, Scot of St. Cloud, Beckie Schaefer and her husband Cliff of Litchfield, Teryl Bicknell and her husband Dan of St. Cloud, Tim and his wife Fran of Oceanside, CA, Wendy Atkinson and her husband Rodney of Freeport; grandchildren, Jamie, Brandy, Karrie, Adam, Graham, Bridget, Spencer, Meredith, Ben, and Chelsea; great grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, and Rylee, and brother, Patrick of St. Paul.

He was preceded in death by son, Robert and daughter, Mary.

Pallbearers will be Chris Coborn, Mark Coborn, Neil Fandel, Shelley Coborn, Noelle Bortscheller, and Jim Korman.

Funeral arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
