Billy proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed.
Billy is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Jane G. Bass.
He is survived by his daughter Linda Dutton and husband, Arnold; grandchildren, Heather Wallace and husband, Rob, and Trey Dugger and wife, Annabeth; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Ethan; brother, J.L. Bass; sisters-in-law, Jean Robinson and Pat Metcalfe; nieces, Karen Coffman, Sandy Robinson, Beth Robinson, and Karla Bass; nephews, Darryl Metcalfe, Robbie Robinson, and Paul Bass; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Second Baptist Church, 9780 Ferguson Road, Dallas, Texas 75228. Interment followed at Roselawn Memorial Park in Seagoville. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Roselawn Funeral Home.
