Mrs. Laura Moeller of Stockton, Ia., passed away at her home Saturday afternoon after a short illness.

Mrs. Moeller (nee Wiese), was born in Cleona township, Scott County, Iowa, and was aged 45 years and 3 months at the time of her death.

On Feb. 27, 1880, she was married to Ernest Moeller, and for 11 years they resided on a farm and later moved to Stockton where they have since resided.

Surviving her besides the husband are the following children: Mrs. Augusta Paarmann, Mrs. Clara Schlapkohl, Mrs. Laura Anderson, Emil Moeller, Ernest Moeller Jr., Leonard Moeller, Herbert Moeller and Alvera and Edna Moeller.

The funeral will take place at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the late home and interment will be in the Walcott cemetery.

In 1880 Mr. Moeller chose as a companion and helpmate for the journey of life, Miss LAURA WIESE, who was born in Scott county, Iowa, a daughter of Hans and Trena Wiese, both of whom were natives of Germany, whence they came to America in an early day and settled in Scott county, Iowa.

There they spent their remaining days, both passing away in that section of the state.

The marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Moeller was blessed with nine children, as follows: Augusta, the wife of Emil Paarmaan, of Scott county; Clara, the wife of Leonard Schlapkohl, a merchant of Stockton; Laura, the wife of C. Anderson, a resident of Stockton; Amiel, who is a graduate of Brown's Business College at Davenport, and is now located at Lake Park, Iowa; Leonard, who is also a graduate of Brown's Business College and is now in Harris, Iowa; Herbert, who likewise graduated from that college and is at home; Edna, at home; and Elvira and Ernest, Jr., who are also under the parental roof.

The wife and mother departed this life on the 12th of October, 1907, and was laid to rest in the cemetery at Walcott.
