Mary R. Anderson, Former Helena Resident, Dies

Mrs. Mary Rilla Anderson, 84, formerly of Helena, died Sunday in Seattle, where she had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Oscar (Elsie) Anderson for the past two years.

Mrs. Anderson was born Nov. 16, 1881, in Earlton, Kan. On Dec. 28, 1924, she was married in Billings to George Anderson. He died on July 15, 1960 in Helena.

Surviving in addition to her daughter in Seattle, are a sister, Mrs. Sam (Eula) Klinglesmith of Helena; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Hagler Chapel with the Rev. Robert C. King of the First Baptist Church officiating.

Pallbearers will be Walter Riddock, Rodger Cox, Fred S. Hashka, Edward Clark, Royal Dagenais, and Walter R. Riddock. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
