JOSEPH SHAB
Father of Reuben Shab of this city and Sam Shab of Tyrone, died at his
home in Langdondale yesterday. He was born in Beyrut, Syria, Nov. 15,
1852, and had been engaged in business at Langdondale for the past thirty-two years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sultynia Shab, and three sons,
the two local sons and Charles Shab of Langdondale. Seven grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held in the Langdondale Methodist church at 2 o'clock tommorrow afternoon. Interment will be made in the Hopewell cemetery.

Joseph Shab
Joseph Shab, aged 76 years and 9 months, died at his home at Langdondale, this county. Thursday morning, August 15, at 3:30 o'clock, following a protracted illness.
Mr. Shab was a native of Syria, and came to this country in 1905 engaging in business in Altoona and Defiance before locating in Langdondale as a merchant. He is survived by his wife who before marriage was Anna Wentworth, three son: Samuel, of Tyrone; Reuben, of Altoona and Charles at home.
Funeral services were held at the late home in Langdondale Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. John Watson pastor of the Tyrone United Brethren church officiating. Interment was made in the Hopewell cemetery.
