FRIONA - Jean Hollis, 79, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Friona Cemetery with Leon Talley of Sixth Street Church of Christ in Friona officiating. Arrangements are by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.

Mrs. Hollis was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Kay, Ark., to James and Eva Bohannon Rains. She married Archie M. "Pete" Hollis on Nov. 6, 1952, in Clovis, N.M.

Survivors include two sisters, Veda Luttrell of Sutter, Calif., and Loretta Salcido of Costa Mesa, Calif.; and three brothers, Wendell Rains and Rex Rains, both of Marshall, Ark., and James Rains of Concord, Calif.
