Lottie V. Krebs
GLEN ROCK – Lottie V. (Meckley) Krebs, 86, of Shrewsbury Lutheran Retirement Village, formerly of Hayward Heights, died early Thursday morning at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Lewis F. Krebs. She and her husband had moved seven months ago to the home. The couple were married 67 years.
The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Krebs was born in Codorus Township, near Glenville, the daughter of the late Alpheus S. and Agnes M. (Gantz) Meckley.
She had retired in 1962 from AMP Inc., where she was a machine operator. She was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, of Never Weary Sunday School Class, of the Lutheran Church Women, of American Legion Austin L. Grove Post 403 Auxiliary, of Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Company Auxiliary, and of the Glen Rock Ambulance Club.
She also is survived by nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Richard C. Weaver.
