(ROANOKE) Funeral services for Eunie Bonner Carden, 86, of Roanoke were at 3 p.m.
Saturday, April 3, 1999, at Roanoke First Baptist Church, with Dr. Doug Turner and the
Rev. Bill Dean officiating. Burial was in Cedarwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Carden died Thursday, April 1, at Hospice LaGrange.
A lifelong resident of Randolph County, she was born May 19, 1912, daughter of
Robert Whitten and Flora Bishop Bonner. She had been employed at Palm Beach
Company and was a member of Roanoke First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Olin Carden.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy Carden of Roanoke; nine grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke.
