Hazel M. Wagner Davis, 92, of Pine Rd., Carlisle died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
Born on July 26, 1912 in Franklin County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bertha Smith McElwee and the widow of Merle Davis and Theron Wagner.
She was retired from G. S. Electric, Carlisle. She was a member of the Carlisle Church of Christ. She was a volunteer for the Penn Township Fire Co and she loved flower gardening and baking.
Surviving are three sons, George H. Wagner, Ira "Sonny" E. Wagner and Robert A. Wagner, all Carlisle; daughter Mary Crull, Carlisle; two sisters, Sarah Franklin, Walnut bottom and Helen Bosserman, Shippensburg; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Guy R. Wagner; two brothers, Edgar and Tom McElwee; two sisters, Marie Vaughn and Florence Hershey.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Carlisle Church of Christ, 971 Walnut Bottom Rd., Carlisle with the Rev. Kevin Key and Rev. Dan Mikesell officiating. Burial will be in the Newville Cemetery, Newville, PA. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover St., Carlisle and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church.
