Obituary, The State (Columbia, SC) October 8, 2000: Mildred Crosby, Camden - Services for Mildred Marshall Crosby, 88, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2000 at Wateree Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Everett Reconnu and the Rev. H. Lavern Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7 this evening at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made to Wateree Baptist Church Building Fund, 2024 Haile Street, Camden, S.C. 29020. Mrs. Crosby, widow of the late Guy Crosby, died Friday, October 6, 2000. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Willis A. Sr. and Ida Jane Hasty Marshall. She was a life member of the Leslie Zemp Chapter 111 of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Wateree Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Barbara Brigman Hancock of Columbia, Joan Brigman Bullock of Greenville; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Benjamin Ryan "Pete" Brigman; sister, Ruby C. Marshall; brother, W. A. Marshall, Jr.
