A native and lifelong resident of Kirbyville, he was a retired owner and operator of a Sawmill.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Bean; a son, Charles Bean; a daughter, Carolyn Randolph; a brother, K Ornan Bean; three sisters, Ina Morgan, Verna Jordan and Melda Tucker, all of Kirbyville.
