Ginnett Davis Felton joined the Confederate Army at Batesville, Arkansas when a boy. He came to Tom Green County in 1888 with a flock of sheep and located his family in San Angelo. He was laid to rest with services conducted by Rev. Ira L. Townsend assisted by Rev. A.D. Foreman. He leaves three daughters - Miss Florence Felton, Effie Runyon, Mrs. E.E. Garnett.
