Ray E. Branum, 90, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at St. Edwards Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
He was a retired Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army, a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam Wars. He was proud of his military service. He was also a former supervisor for Willard Mirror Company and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his brother, Dennis Branum, Jr. and his wife Mary of Goshen, IN; a niece Kathy Pugh and her husband Jeff of Sacrmento, CA; a nephew, Dennis Branum of Indianapolis, IN; and a good friend, Katherine Croom of Fort Smith.
Funeral services were held graveside at the U.S. National Cemetery on Monday, July 12 at 10:00am with the Rev. Stephen Dickinson officiating.
Burial was with full military honors.
